  3. The study is called "The Mozart Effect" by Jones, West, and Estell. The aim of the study is to see if students who are subjected to 7.5 minutes of a Mozart song will provide better answers to a spatial relations task than students who are not.

    ANYWHO...
My aim is to see whether or not the amount of work done by a person distorts their perception of elapsed time.

  6. For my Psych IA, my study is on Levels of Processing (based on the “Depth of Processing” theory proposed by Craik and Tulving).

The aim of this study is to determine the difference in memories created through “shallow” processing (its appearance or sound) or “deep” processing (meaning or semantic characteristics).

Smart peoples: Rebecca O. and Karina C.

  12. My study conducted by Loftus is fairly straight-forward. "Weapon focus" or the "weapon effect" is a factor affecting the reliability of eyewitness testimony. Weapon focus signifies a witness to a crime diverting his or her attention to the weapon the perpetrator is holding, thus leaving less attention for other details in the scene and leading to memory impairments later for those other details. Thus the aim of this study is to assess (further)one aspect concerning the reliability of eye-witness testimony.
